Peter Paddrik, Senior Vice President

Pete has responsibilities for developing key client relations and alliances.  In this role, he designs primary qualitative and quantitative market research approaches and guides client teams in achieving project objectives and deliverables.
Pete has 25 years of experience in a wide range of healthcare management consulting and market research.  Prior to joining HSRA, he was the Global Director of an internationally organized Honomichl 50 market research firm providing services to ethical pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, and medical device clients.  Responsibilities included guiding the launch and development of the globally oriented research practice.

He has extensive global research experience for new product launches in numerous therapeutic categories, drug portfolio analysis, acquisition/licensing reviews, line extension planning, brand equity studies, and market forecasting.  He has comprehensive expertise in both sophisticated qualitative and advanced quantitative research.  The client experiences cover an extensive global reach of multi-country market research in North America, Europe, and the Far East.

As a trusted advisor to his clients, Pete has been an integral part in the launch of 7 major global biopharmaceutical products.  In this role, Pete was the client interface with advertising agencies in brand positioning, personality, and trust message development for brand lifecycle research.

His early work with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP and Genesis Financial, a venture capital firm, focused on medical device launches and healthcare provider delivery systems.  Pete directed consulting teams in analyzing opportunities for hospital acquisitions as well as market and financial feasibility of new products.  Likewise, he directed the strategic services consultancy practice to manufacturers within the pharmaceutical and medical supply chain sectors.

As a Vice President for Taylor, Nelson, Sofres (TNS), Pete managed a broad range of qualitative and quantitative market research for global pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients with emphasis on therapeutic categories in Allergy & Asthma, Metabolic, CNS, Cardiovascular, and Women’s Health.

Mr. Paddrik received a BS in Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a MBA in Corporate Finance and Marketing from the State University of New York at Albany.  He is a Diplomate Member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.  He is also affiliated with the Pharmaceutical Business Information and Research Group, Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals, Pharmaceutical Market Research Group, and the American Association of Healthcare Consultants.

Mr. Paddrik has authored several nationally published articles and has been a frequent speaker at medical and healthcare symposia.
